I've liked anime quite a bit since I was younger. I liked Gundam and most branches of Gundam. After a few years I started getting into other anime. Here's a list of ones I currently like.

Lucky*Star
The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya
Excel Saga
One Piece

I know my tastes are less than what you'd expect. I never was into Naruto too much, and I don't really care for other mainstream ones like Inuyasha. I don't say they're bad, it's just I don't really read or watch them.

I like Lucky*Star ever since my friend posted a topic with the so called 'Worst song of all time' which just so happened to be the theme song. One day I was bored, so I decided to watch it, and found myself very entertained by all of the pop culture references.

Haruhi was recommended by an Otaku friend of mine. Showed me episode 00, decided to watch whole series. I liked it a lot, hoping they release new episodes soon.

Excel Saga I first heard of about 4 or 5 years ago. My brother told me that his friend said the series was bizarre and had a character that died every episode like Kenny. Showed me (not the very explicit episodes) the series, liked the random humor a lot. 'Who puts a bomb in a dating game?!'.

And finally, I got into One Piece thanks to [Shudder] the old Fox cartoon channel. I read the manga after hearing it was an anime about pirates, really like the originality. Of course I hate the 4k!ds version with a bloody vengeance, but I'll give it credit for introducing it to me. Surprisingly, I noticed it seemed too non violent as a kids show, thus I realized that it wasn't.

And that's my interests. 'Course this seems a little more like rambling to me, but what kind of stuff do you like?"


They should call you whiners "Dr. NOOOOOOOO!" (Told ya I post random sigs ^___^ Don't expect any of them to make sense, they're usually my opinions on things or videogame quotes. This one is a reference to the Spy from Team Fortress 2, who is making a reference to James Bond movie "Dr. No." Yes I do research.)

Can I ask a question since you like New Prince of Tennis? Is there a term for people who play to hit other players with the ball? That's how we played Tennis in my Tennis class when we had practice days."


We turned Tennis into a game of Dodgeball with rackets, punches, and kicks. Was a very fun game.

Um...I think that's just dodgeball with tennis balls...a violent game of tennis. lol =]

Omg I watched excel saga when i was like 9 years old. It was sooo innapropriate..did you see the last episode? lol

I remember that episode. When whats his face is playing the dating sim. (Its been so long since I watched that) That show was hilarious. I felt so bad for the poor dog. (or was it a cat) And the ending theme was so funny when hes singing about how excel always tries to eat him.

Well i like to many animes. but the ones that come to my head immediatly are naruto, FMA, Tengen toppa gurren lagan, elfin lied, death note, school rumble.

I remember when I said that I play tennis to hit people with the ball, some person cosplaying as a character from Prince of Tennis called me some Japanese term. Don't remember what it was, but said that's what people who play the game to hit people are called.

And I put down Death Note after L died
