The Process of Running an RP
When I make RPs, there's a whole little process I do when make posts. Here's the little rundown.
After making the RP, I hang around the forum often to see when someone posts. Depending on the RP, if there are more than 3 people, I tend to wait until 2 people post so people don't have to backtrack to look for their post. After that, I enter the topic and look who posted. When I see who posted, I begin to make their special choices if they're in separate areas than other players.
I turn on a song that I loop or play over and over for the duration of making my post. First I start by creating the scenario for the person by either a pre-planned outcome of a certain event or something off the top of my head that flows with the current situation. After I write up the scenario, characters, and what's going on, I give them choices. When I give people choices in my RPs, I try to give them as many as I can. Even really obscure ones such as trashing a place or burning something are included since people may actually do those kinds of things because I want them to let their character do something that suits their personality.
After I post the reply, I leave a Firefox tab on the forum and refresh it every few minutes to see when people post replies and reactions. The process repeats, then this tends to go on until the RP ends.
And that's it for me, really. That's what I feel the process of running an RP is like. It can take some patience when people reply rather quickly, and it does take some thinking since I try to make things that are different so the RP stays original, but yeah, that's about it.

Well you do an wicked excellent job! I do like the process of being in a sorta organized RP so there isn't as much worry about creator writer's-block (and abandonment) >.< .
Having the choice outline helps me to not have to mill over my posts hoping I don't screw up the general storyline... Of course as you've seen I sometimes personalize my choices, and from what I see you're OK with that even if could mean some slight changes, which also contributes a lot to an enjoyable experience.

try getting MSN for notification, as you get a new e-mail when someone replies to a topic you have posted in.
