The "Bells" point system

On your profile and below your avatar when you post it says "Bells:" and then a number depending on how many bells you have. You get bells from posting, making friends, and just being active.

What can I do with Bells?
Well right now all it really does is give members more insentive to post/be active. Plus there are members that want to have more bells then anyone else, so it becomes a sort of contest. You can also donate bells to other members. Another thing you can do with bells is this: Lets say someone on the site is really good at making something. (signatures, avatars or something). That user could start his own avatar/sig shop and sell his creations in exchange for bells. Anything like that. You can make your own shop.

...and yes the "bells" name was taken from Animal crossing...

Exactly. And no theres no specific place for a shop. (atleast not right now) So if you wanted to make an av shop, it would go in the art section.

lmao. Yea in animal crossing "bells" is the currency they use.

This is a really . . . Difficult system ._.
The one I remembered was you didn't get points for posting.
You were assigned 10 points at the start and you could donate points.
The only points that could be created were created by the admins.

What stops a person from simply posting in the shoutbox non-stop?

Especially if the bells only have certain uses. Unless I can upgrade my house and change my haircut =/

shout box posts dont award you any bells.

you can use them for lots of things.

Alucard "I'm pretty sure we can use them for things. I wouldn't feel too bad for 'selling' some of my story stuff or things to people. Originally I WAS going to charge for the Wisdom Corner, but I figured eh."


We can find a good use. The test apparently effects you because you lose some when ya don't do good.
