Survival Horror RP 2

[Pick Trent up and try to wake him]
Jim: Oh geez, it...it.. was dark and after seeing a monster with a bag on it's head u get a little jumpy when somthing falls on you.

[Run out to the hall]

Robert runs out into the hall.

He sees Jim trying to wake up Trent, who is unconscious. Jerry tells Robert

Jerry "Hey! Looks like Jim whacked Trent in the dark when he couldn't see. Fella's out cold."

[Carry Trent]
[Tell someone to carry him]
[Have 2 people carry him]
[Tell everyone to leave him]

(Robert) [Shoot at the monster]
(Robert) [Shine your light on the monster]
(Robert) [Turn off your light]
[Prepare yourself for melee with the monster]
[Throw something at the monster]

[Talk to someone in the group]
[Go to one of the other doors]
[Go to the stairs]
[Go down the steps]
[Do nothing]

*grab Trent by the ankle*
"common, back down, there is no reason for you to be up here anyway."
[Go down the steps]

[Go down the steps]

Jerry helps them carefully bring Trent down the steps. As they're halfway down, the steps collapse and they painfully fall to the ground. They all have minor bruises, but they aren't seriously hurt.

Jerry "Ow...So much for going down at the same time.

The monster jumps down and confronts them. The doors aren't opening since a filing cabinet blocks one door and the fallen steps along with broken parts of the computer desk being in the way of the door.

Jerry "Looks like we have to fight our way out of this one."

Jerry carefully approaches the monster. With quick reflexes, he dodges a claw swipe and kicks the sack off the monster. The sack turns out to be empty and the creature has no head. Near it's shoulders it has a very large opening like a mouth with sharp teeth going around inside it in a circular pattern. The monster then lunges at Jerry, the opening biting his arm.

Jerry "OW! THAT F***ING HURTS!"

He stabs the monster several times while yelling "Pain" and other words. Eventually the monster lets out, it's blood pouring on his wound when it does a flip and clings onto a wall.

"ARGH! DAMMIT, DAMMIT, DAMMIT!"

Jerry throws a filing cabinet drawer at the monster, which it catches in it's opening and bites in half.

(Robert)
[Shoot at the opening]
[Shine your light on the monster]
[Light a match]
[Light a match and light the papers on the ground on fire]

[Throw something at the monster]
[Get close and melee]
[Toss Trent to the monster]
[Try to remove the debris from the door]
[Panic and yell]
[Do nothing]

[Shine your light on the monster]
"where is your brain located?..."

Jim: Distract him while I channel a spirit bomb!
Jerry: What the hell?
Jim: Ummm....
[Throw something at the monster]
Jim: Throws a butterfly knife at the beast's head.

Jim, no head. by the looks of it who ever he was had been skinned, and decapitated, but why does his blood burn?...maybe he was killed with a bag over his head, head dunked in an acid...no...there would be a skull left, he was dumped in a base. acid is the opposite of a base, they would cancel each other out. I got it! we need acid, all the mountain dew now!

Jerry "Okay, what the hell's going on in your mind?"

Jerry opens his Mountain Dew can and half exaggeratedly splashes some of it on the monster. It has no apparent effect.

"Great idea, dumbass!"

He drinks the rest of the can then throws it at the monster.

Jim's butterfly knife hits the monster. The handle hits and it falls to the ground after contact.

When Robert shines his light on the monster, it immediately lunges at him. Almost like stopping it midair, it notices Trent and averts its attention to the unconscious survivor.

(Robert)
[Shoot the monster]
[Shine your light on the monster]
[Light a match]
[Light a match and burn something]

[Attack the monster]
[Throw something at the monster]
[Try to hold the monster back]
[Drag Trent away]
[Offer Trent to the monster]
[Do nothing]

[Attack the monster]
Jim swings his tire iron as hard as he can from behind the beast.

[Attack the monster]
*picks up file cabinet and repeatedly slams it against the monster while yelling "obey the laws of physics and chemical bonds!" *

Jim whacks the monster with his tire iron.

The beast flies into a wall and emits the same shriek from before. The shriek causes Him to drop his tire iron, it lands on Trent and wakes him.

{For Trent}
You awaken as an object painfully falls on your kneecap. Looking up, there is the monster that emitted the shriek from the room.

Robert slams the filing cabinet into the monster. He drops it after the 2nd attack, but it lands directly on the monster. A large amount of blood splashes from it, just barely missing Robert and the others. The creature shrieks even louder before it's noise finally dies out.

[Lift the filing cabinet from the monster]
(Robert) [Shoot the monster] [Burn the monster]
[Drink some of the monster's blood]
[Move the debris blocking the doors]
[Do nothing]

by throwing it at the monster.

[Attack the monster]

Trent is shocked, but relievedly surprised to see the big shears still nearby! Trent scrambles up and rams the shears into the monster's midsection, then proceeding to try and shift them around, opening and closing the blades, twisting them around!

Jerry "Man, nice gardening shears! Show that dead monster who's the damn boss! Make sure he's dead!"

With all the debris moved, the doors can now be opened. The debris is moved onto the monster, leaving only one of it's claws uncovered. There's still plenty of debris around, but it's out of the way.

[Go to the door on the left (Front Room)]

[Try to stack stuff to reach the second floor again]
[Attack the downed monster]
[Do nothing]

Jim hits the hand hard with his tire iron.

{For Jim}

You step forward to step into the other room and suddenly plunge straight down. You're falling. Looking around, you're surrounded by darkness and you can't see anything underneath you.

After falling for what feels like a few minutes, you suddenly land on something soft. You've fallen on a bed in a room. It's hard to believe you fell on a bed in a house and not broken through the roof over your head. The room is painted a shade of dark blue. There is a closet on the left, a drawer with a mirror on it on the right and a door in front of you. The window behind you is the only source of light.

[Examine the drawer]
[Examine the window]
[Go to the door ahead]
[Sleep on the bed]
[Do nothing]

{For Trent and Robert}

Trent, Robert, and Jerry watch Jim open a door and step to the other side only to suddenly fall through the ground and have the door slam shut.

Jerry "Damn! What the hell was that?"

The computer suddenly turned on. The broken printer starts printing pages of text with pictures on them. Only then does Robert notice that his chess pieces are glowing blue again.

Jerry "Mine."

He says as he picks up the papers.

Jerry "Wait...this stuff...hey guys, this mug in the pic look familiar?"

He shows them the paper he's holding, and the very monster that is lying in the corner of the room under a pile of debris is in the picture.

"Let me read this out loud..."

*Ahem*

"'The Claw Beast. A while ago in 2004, there was a series of grisly murders where the victims heads were put in masks before they were brought to a stump and smashed by a sledgehammer. The bodies were then dismembered and put into acid vats to destroy the evidence of the murders. The killer turned out to be 35 year old Mason Teras, who recently was committed to an insane asylum after loosing his sanity after several failed surgeries that cost patients their lives. The victims became the Claw Beasts, their features are a bag with no head in it from the blunt decapitations, claws from the set of blades he used to dismember the corpses that resembled a row of claws, and acidic blood from their remains being disintegrated in acid.

It's measly a pawn in the grand plan...'"

*Deep Breath*

"Hot damn! You mean that these things have background stories to them? Doesn't matter that the computer just kicked it out, this stuff is way strange. Here's another one, but I don't remember this monster...or is it a kid?"

He hands Trent and Robert a piece of paper, the masked kid who confronted them with the gardening shears the subject of the text.

[Hang on to the paper]
[Throw the paper away]
[Burn the paper]

[Chase after Jim]
[Talk to someone in the party]
[Try to stack stuff to the second floor]
[Go to the door to the left (Front Room)]
[Go to the door ahead (Kitchen/Dining Room]

[Chase after Jim]
"in case you haven't noticed one of us is missing, I am going to make sure he is alive. this makes 3 times he has wandered off."

[Examine the window]
Jim: Geez, I wasn't wandering I thought they would follow. Hopefully I am on the ground floor now.

{For Jim}

You look out the window. There is nothing in sight, no horizon or anything. Looking down, there is no ground visible.

Suddenly the window opens and a powerful gust of wind blows Jim back. The window's shutters slam shut and the room turns pitch black.

[Reach for the shutters and open them]
[Attack in the direction of the shutters]
[Get off the bed and carefully move around to look for the door]
[Get off the bed and dash forward]
[Jump on the bed]
[Feel around with your tire iron]
[Lie down on the bed and sleep]
[Do nothing]

You chase after Jim.

You run to the door and opens it. When the door opens, you are suddenly pulled through to the other side by a strange force. You finds yourself in a room with a pit in the middle and 4 mirrors in front of you. The door is still behind you.

Looking around, there is a hammer.

[Take]
[Throw]
[Leave]

[Examine at the mirrors]
[Examine the pit]
[Open the door]
[Attack the left mirror]
[Attack the middle left mirror]
[Attack the middle right mirror]
[Attack the right mirror]
[Jump in the pit]
[Light the door on fire]

{For Trent}

You're alone with Jerry now that Robert also disappeared through the door.

Jerry "Wait up. I made a makeshift staircase. Going up?"

[Go to the door on the left (Front Room)]
[Go to the door ahead (Kitchen/Dining Room/Unknown)]
[Climb up to the second floor]
[Attack Jerry]
[Talk to Jerry]
[Lie down and try to sleep]
[Uncover the monster]
[Use the computer]
[Attack the computer]
[Attack the printer]
[Do nothing]

[Examine at the mirrors]

[Get off the bed and carefully move around to look for the door]

{For Robert}

(Did I type: "Examine at the mirrors?" Crud. I'll have to fix that.)

You look at the mirrors. You see a perfect reflection of yourself. The mirrors are about the size of doors, and each one perfectly shows the things behind you.

For some reason, when you look in the reflection of the mirrors, the door is not in it. The mirror in the middle left does have the mirror in it's frame, but the others don't.

Jim stumbles around the room, carefully using feeling around with his foot to make sure he doesn't trip on anything. He hits a wall, and his hand is on a doorknob. The door, perhaps?

[Open the door(?)]

[Move away from the door(?) and feel around for something else]
[Jump back]
[Lie down and sleep]
[Do nothing]
