Majeh's Rant of the Week: Issue 2

It started today at about... well, since I got up. We'll say about half past twelve. I awoke as normal, looked around the room (which was still pleasantly dark) and rubbed my eyes. After listening to a mix of Megadeth and Slayer at hilarious volumes on my ipod, I had the much needed motivation required to force myself out of bed. As I dandered about the room, crashing into various walls and that bloody chair, I made it to the curtains. It was upon opening them that I realised the horror that was the intense sunlight blazing through the windows. My curtains are awesome, they're special and block out all of the sunlight. Only problem is the surprise you are faced with when you open them.

Now, you must first understand the nature of my country. There are two weather forecasts. Number one is that it's raining. Number two is that it's about to rain. Luckily for me, I love the cold, dark, rainy weather. It's relaxing, it's enjoyable, it puts me in a good mood. Today, I've lacked motivation to do anything, I've been far too warm ( even with my fan sitting only inches from me and on a high setting), and I'm not in the best of moods. Well, I'm in the perfect mood for a rant...

The true nuissance of this sudden outburst of heat began when I was asked to go outside and do stuff in the garden. I had to rake the lawn and remove some of the larger plants. Fair enough, it helps my parents out and provides something to occupy me, but it's rather awful at high temperatures. I don't know the precise temperature, but I bet it's got some technical name like "heatstroke level 5". I also believe the scale stops at 3. Those of you who have seen me will know how pale I happen to be. I step outside, I get a burning feeling on my arms and neck. I actually have to wear at least factor 50 sunblock when I go out in the sun. And for the record, yes, I do show up in mirrors and no, I don't sparkle.

So I'm now inside again, cooling down with the fan constantly on a high setting and hiding from the "wonderful" weather. Hopefully tomorrow will be back to our regular weather. Now I realise everyone deserves a holiday once in a while, but Sun, if you're reading this, you aren't welcome here, go somewhere else.

man up. try living here. sun sun all the time. every where. could be worse. you could spend a week with Blaze or Asak-... Alucard.

I hate the warm weather and also love when its rainy and all that. F**k finland. This is a polar country and it just happens that whenever its mid-summer, the night is seriously like 30 minutes long, whileas when its winter, its very close to there being no day at all.

I hate both of the options.
