Meanwhile back at the Technological Research Bureau.

Majeh: "Hey Karasu, come here a minute, check this out!"

Karasu: "Is that the little black box you used in the battle?"

Majeh: "Yes, and I've just run it through our computer, it analysed the spirit particles."

Karasu: "Interesting...So what are you gonna do now?"

Majeh: "Hmm, learn it I guess..."

Karasu: "You could get your ass kicked outa Soul Society though..."

Majeh: "Nah, it'll be fine... To be honest, I bet they expect it from our Bureau."

Karasu: "Hmm, I guess..."

Majeh: "It's research afterall!"

Karasu: "Fine, just don't be messin' around with it too much, if you must learn it, then do so and leave it at that..."

Majeh: "Right."

Majeh continued research on the spirit particles.

*Tony enters the Technological Research Bureau Zanpacktous at the ready*

Tony:Taichou is in there but...he seems stronger...but there is a greater power there with him...could it be Mayakashi?

*Tony Kicks the door down to see a shocked Karasu and Majeh*

Majeh locked his computer, yet left it running.

Majeh: "Karasu, have a few shinigami from our division guard that laptop, tell them not to touch or tamper with it. We're gonna go get warmed up, join us when you are ready."

Karasu: "Alright, make sure he's in top shape, I don't wanna kill him by mistake...although it would make my life quieter..."

Tony: " O_O "

Majeh and Tony flash step to the 10th's training grounds.

Tony: "So Majeh-Taichou, I have noticed a difference in your reiatsu... What did you do?"

Majeh: "It's not about becoming stronger Tony, it's about better control of your existing power."

Tony: "You mean you were that strong already?"

Majeh: "Yup, but I was unaware how to control it so effectively, Karasu "trained" me."

Tony: "Alright then, let's start the warm up whilst we wait."

Majeh: "Alright."

Rin: *laying in grass* That was...harder than I thought...*wince* training by yourself sucks...

*Ariel shunpos in*

Ariel: What are you doing?!

Rin: I was just training...can't ya tell?

Ariel: Why aren't you helping me look for Tony?!

Rin: You told me not to help you...remember?

Ariel: *glares* Forget that! I think he's surpressing his reitsu! Let's go!

Rin: *sitting up* no...I don't think I will...

Ariel: Excuse me?!

Rin: I am a member of the 13th Division...therefore I have no obligation to him...and I'm 3rd seat so you can't order me around. So let me get back to training.

Ariel: You heartless twit!! If he dies, it's your fault!!! *shunpos away*

Rin: *lays back down and sighs* I can't do anything for Tony like this...I'll get a little stronger THEN look for him. *Stands up* All right! Let's go...

As Kyou now ran with a great pace, he shook his head in worry.

"Why would he do this? Didn't he know better than to try those experiments again? The last time he went to this extreme was the time he almost was killed by our taichou for his reckless actions. And he'd be about dead anyway if the taichou didn't know now. Whatever, this needs to be dealt with."

Within moments, the two people that he had wanted to see were in sight. It was none other than Frank, the vice captain of the healing division. Well, he was sometimes Frank, and sometimes Tia. It depended on his current mental state. And if he was in drag or not. At any rate, what his hobbies were were of no concern of Kyou, except for the potentially dangerous ones. Because Frank had brought back one of his pets. A hollow he had "tamed", to some extent.

From the knowledge of the hollow database, Kyou could almost recognize this hollow. It was an odd one, as it was covered in make up. Which was Frank's method of "humanizing" it. For some time, using his specialized techniques, he could restore the morales back to a hollow, making it a sentinent being without the help of that which would break the barrier between hollow and shinigami. And it was none other than the hollow that was formally known as Kain. But with the make up covering its skeletal body, it was ambigious what to call it now.

"Frank... does the taichou know what you are doing again?"

But Frank only batted his eyebrows as he held his mischievous smile. But Kyou was not amused.

"You know what happened last time after your "experiment". Things weren't the same after your hollow got loose."

But in a flirtatious voice, Frank replied, "You know that it was only due to the machinations of an arrancar and meddling unseated children. And Taichou... kinda knows."

With a sigh, Kyou brought Frank to him and clasped him on the back in a hug. It was good to see a familliar face to take responsibliity again.

"Well, you ready to go back?"

But Frank's smile was replaced with a frown.

*Tony and Majeh are neck and neck and cross the line together*

Karasu appeared in the training grounds.

Karasu: "Yo Majeh, you'd better go see what the computer's been up to..."

Majeh: "What do you mean?"

Karasu: "I think your little project might be finished. You'll be interested I guess..."

Majeh: "Alright..."

Majeh: "See ya Tony, Karasu is here to train you, and I gotta take care of something."

Tony: "Okay Majeh, see ya later."

Majeh Shunpoed away to the lab.

Karasu: "Oh, this will be fun. I won't be going easy for you, so if you mess up, I'll kill you."

Tony: "WHAT?!"

Karasu: "In order to make you complete this training successfully, I need to push you to your limits, otherwise, this isn't gonna get you anywhere..."

Tony: "Sure..."

Karasu: "Don't slip up, or it'll be the last thing you do."

Tony: "Right!"

Tony charged at Karasu, but Karasu vanished and punched Tony in the face, then vanished and kicked him in the stomach and punched him backwards into one of the reinforced walls. He appeared and punched Tony to the ground. Tony kicked at him but was too slow.

Tony: "How the hell are you this fast?!"

Karasu appeared in front of him and punched him upwards into the stomach, cracking the wall. Then he placed his hand on Tony's chest and using a kidou, blasted him through the wall. Members of one of the other divisions ran for their lives when they saw the destruction.

Karasu: "Get outa here ya pathetic excuses for soldiers!!!"

Karasu fired at kidou at the other division and they all shunpoed away.

Tony: "Chill out man!"

Karasu appeared and started a barrage of attacks on Tony, before punched him straight up in the air. Tony spun and then dodged to the side, taking out his zanpakutou.

Karasu: "Tch..."

Karasu appeared in front of Tony, but Tony was ready and swung down his katana. It got closer to Karasu and then he smiled, Karasu moved close, he blocked Tony's arm so as to prevent his swing being completed, then he gathered some reiatsu in his fist, and punched Tony incredibly hard, whilst grabbing his zanpakutou, separating them. Karasu descended closing in fast on Tony.

Tony: "Crap, he's too powerful!"

Karasu kneed Tony as they collided with the ground. Tony coughed up blood.

Karasu: "Almost there!"

Karasu summoned a large amount of reiatsu in his hand. He raised it above his head as he grabbed Tony's shirt.

Tony: "Gah...No...Karasu..."

Karasu: "DARKNESS BLAZE!"

Karasu brought down the ball of burning reiatsu, Tony moved quickly and headbutted him in the face. Karasu moved his hand from Tony's shirt and pushed his head into the ground, then brought the ball to within 3 inches of his face.

Tony: "No..!"

Karasu: "So, what will it be?"

All of a sudden a ball of blue light blasted Karasu's side, he threw the ball into the smoke.

Tony: "Huh?"

Karasu: "An interuption?"

Ariel: Hand's off Tony!

Karasu got up and kicked Tony into the wall.

Karasu thought to himself "perfect!".

Ariel charged him and kicked, Karasu blocked and punched her in the stomach and then kicked her into the air. Ariel descended with her Zanpakutou out. Karasu moved back and then backhanded her in the face knocking her to the ground.

Tony: "ARIEL!!"

Karasu grabbed her and kneed her in the stomach.

Karasu: "Play along you fool, or else he'll never reach his true potential, he has a lot of spirit power, but he's so stupid that he can't reach it. I'm tearing down that wall, and if you get in my way, I'll kill you. You know that you are not a match for me, and you know it makes sense to let him attain this power."

Ariel: "...Fine..."

Karasu tossed Ariel to the ground. She rolled and then stopped, facing away from Tony.

Tony: "I'LL KILL YOUUUUUU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

Tony's reiatsu erupted, his eyes changed to a light blue. His reiatsu changed.

Karasu: "Now stop me, if you can!"

Tony appeared in front of Karasu and punched him in the stomach.

Karasu looked up and smiled sadistically.

Tony: "What are you!?"

Karasu punched him in the face, giving him a bloody nose. Then he kicked him up against the wall. Karasu grabbed him by the shirt and raised him into the air.

Karasu: "You mean to tell me that this is as far as it goes? Why did I waste my time..."

Tony: "I'll get you Karasu!"

Karasu: "Then get on with it!"

Karasu threw tony into the wall, and using his reiatsu, pushed him through it.

Tony's shirt was torn at the back, and Karasu dropped him onto his back.

Karasu: "I'm serious Tony, you are wasting my time."

Tony: "Why can't I release more power..."

Karasu turned his back.

Karasu: "You aren't even worth killing!"

Karasu began to walk away.

Tony: "No."

Karasu: "What?"

Tony: "Train me, I want to be stronger!"

Karasu: "Unleash an attack on me now, give it 100% of your power, send it all at me! KILL ME!"

Tony: "OH I'LL KILL YOU ALRIGHT!!!"

Tony gathered up all his reiatsu, the trees blew, the walls began to crack more, until the ball of reiatsu was as big as Tony. He threw it at Karasu.

Karasu: "Nope."

Karasu grabbed the ball and using only his reiatsu, blew a hole through it. It burst.

Karasu: "You can create a large ball, but that is a waste of time. It'll be slow, and it's damage spread over a large area. You need to condense it, more spirit particles in it's smaller area, when you do that, you can mess someone up really well! One more try, then I'm leaving."

Tony closed his eyes and placed his hands together. He created a ball of reiatsu, this time as it grew he pushed in on it hard, compressing it. Little lightning particles could be distinguished around it.

Karasu: "Better."

Karasu moved in and grabbed the ball out of Tony's hand and pulled it back.

Karasu: "You know how much damage this will do if I hit you with it, last chance, do you want to be powerful, strong enough to protect that loser from 13th division that hangs about with you? Strong enough to back up Majeh? Strong enough for my recognition? Strong enough to avenge the deceased?"

Tony: "Yes..."

Karasu: "LET ME HEAR YOU, AND STOP THIS BALL!!!"

Tony: "HELL YEAH!!!!!!!"

Karasu pushed the ball at him at high speed, Zeke's reiatsu became calm, yet powerful, he grabbed the ball with one hand and used the other to force reiatsu to push Karasu back. Then he crushed the ball with his reiatsu, and moved close to Karasu, punching him in the stomach. Karasu's feet lifted off the ground as Tony started a barrage of punches, and then a kick to finish. Karasu grabbed the kick.

Karasu: "Good work, but don't get too cocky, you are only at 95% focus, it's not good enough yet, but that'll do for now. You are strong enough to back Majeh up, but you will become stronger, this is all I can teach you for now."

Tony: "Thank you!"

Karasu: "Go rest, I'll go see how Majeh is doing."

Tony: "You beat up my sister!"

Karasu: "Nope. *points* She's fine."

Ariel got up and smiled.

Tony: "You tricked me!"

Karasu: "Learn to see through deception, it's a necessary quality in combat. Later!"

Karasu vanished.

*A shinigami appears in the 13th Division's training ground and sees Rin kneeling by the bushes. He goes over to her*

Shinigami: Uh...Hanagari...are you all right?

Rin: *looks up and wipes off her mouth* Yeah...sorry...what's up?

Shinigami: Taicho wants to see you.

Rin: *winces* Aw...what does he want now?

Shinigami: I don't know but he seems angry...you better go see him.

Rin: All right...thanks...

*Shinigami bows and disappears. Rin stands up and shunpos to the 13th Division's base. She opens the door.*

Rin: Ohayo Taicho...

Taicho: Hanagari...come in. *Rin walks over* Ugh...you smell horrible!

Rin: *goes red* S-sorry...I was training...and I guess I sorta...

Taicho: Throwing u while you train is not a good thing.

Rin: Taaaaiiicho...

Taicho: I don't want to hear it. It seems the Majeh has asked you to be transfered into his division...with no reason stated. Do you know anything about this.

Rin: *eyes wide* Oh...no I do not Taicho.

Taicho: Well...I will not have this! To just let them take one of my strongest members away, I refuse. You are not 3rd seat for nothing.

Rin: Hai, Taicho.

Taicho: You just haven't realized your potenial...I wouldn't just pick any random girl off the Rukongai streets...you know that right.

Kyou opened his mouth with shock, unsure of what to say. This was an unheard of event, not completely unique, but still rare. Although it was safe to say Kyou had met the requirements with ease, due to his prodigious surgical skill along with a few other skills he had, those hidden from the mortal eyes of many others.

Still, this was a big shocker.

"Are you serious Frank? That just doesn't make sense. What kind of mission would require you to give up your seat?"

But Frank was focused with a dark stare, filled with sadness and discontent. "This was Taichou's idea, and he knew that I might not return. So I bequeath this onto you."

With a sad twinkle in his eyes, he handed over the vice captains badge and ran away with his pet following him.

Kyou was similar to Frank, in that he had tears as well. But he had to return, and deal with this, and all that it meant. That and his patients, who were in need of his tender love, care, and in his hands.

Majeh: "Ah, the best restaurant in all of Soul Society, pricey too.. But Tony is paying "

Karasu: "Indeed..."

The next morning, Majeh woke up in the lab.

Majeh studied the results and was shocked at what he saw.

Majeh: "What is this...Shinigami spirit particles, yet combined with hollow ones? What can this mean?"

Karasu arrived, looking at Majeh's look of confusion.

Karasu: "So you got the results then?"

Majeh: "Yeh, you're gonna want to see this..."

Karasu studied the data carefully before turning to Majeh with the same look of shock.

Karasu: "A fusion? Hmm, I have heard of this before..."

Majeh: "Really?!"

Karasu: "Haven't you been reading up on your history? Pssh, have you not heard of the Aizen incident?"

Majeh: "I do recall something to do with it...I came across something about him, it was in some of Urahara's research..."

Karasu: "Indeed, it would be. Normally this "cero" beam is a powerful hollow attack. However, beings known as "Vizard" can also use it. Apparently, due to Urahara's research, a process known as "hollowfication" can be used to trigger abilities such as this. It also brings with it a huge boost in power. Majeh, do not delve into this subject... You will be exiled, possibly even executed..."

Majeh: "I know the consequences... But it seems like such a waste?"

Karasu: "Hah, Majeh, allow me to take a look at this for you, I'm already being watched, they wouldn't be surprised if I commited such a felony...If you really are set on it this is..."

Majeh: "No Karasu, I will conduct the research. If you are being watched then they will suspect this kind of behaviour..."

Karasu: "Alright then Majeh, let's flip a coin, heads you get to do the research, tails it's mine..."

Majeh: "Agreed..."

Just then Tony walked in to the lab.

Majeh: "Flip a coin."

Majeh and Karasu: "Understood..."

Karasu: "Tony, don't ever tell anyone the result of this unless one of us two requests it."
