Survival Horror RP

Going up to the cabinet, there is one way it opens. Opening it, there is a single Ruby inside, very colorful and radiant. It looks like it's quite valuable. There's not telling how much it may be worth, but it seems strange that it's just sitting here in the cabinet.

my book of superstitions says "the wearers of this gem are likely to be passionate and deep lovers", I have the feeling it has something to do with the ghost and her love.

The Pool Table looks very elegant, just like the other things in the room. The table hasn't a single scratch on it, and there is a fine lamp hanging from the ceiling over it. It looks like someone had been playing it recently, as the balls have been scattered, and a majority of them are already in the pockets. A pool cue has been left on the table, and even though it looks like it's wood, it feels like cold metal.

Robert hits the cue ball, and in an impossible fashion, the balls all scatter in awkward directions that are physically not possible, and their erratic movement sinks the 8 ball in the center right (to Robert) pocket. Guess that's game over, but how did they do that?

The gramophone, which was playing quite loudly before, now remains silent. It looks like the kind you'd see in a 50s movie or something. Robert gets a sudden feeling of nostalgia. The record ready to play reads "Hero's Adventure Through Darkness". Strange...wasn't the record labeled "Horst Wessel Lied" when it was playing?

Suddenly, Robert gets a headache and puts his hands on his head. Closing his eyes, he sees a skull, covered in blood, appear.

The skull's mouth does not move, but he hears a demonic voice.

"You have no chance to resist us. Soon your soul will be one with this estate! You will be ours!"

In a sudden flash, the room reappears, Robert's headache gone.

The gramophone plays the tune. It sounds like it may be broken.


(Yes, this is a reference to a survival horror game)

After playing for 30 seconds, the record comes to a grinding halt and goes crack. It looks like you broke it. Go to your room.

As Robert walks to the door, he takes one last look at the grandfather clock: The time is 11:10

The door is stuck, but a forceful push opens it completely as the door falls off it's hinges, making a loud crashing sound. The room is completely dark with none of the light in the game room illuminating this one, and the sounds of the ocean can be heard.

Do you turn on your light?

What do you do?
[Go through the door]
[Look through the door]

Turning his light on and looking into the room, Robert sees a rocky pattern on the ceiling and walls. The door then suddenly falls. There is no ground. Looking down, Robert sees a cliff below him, ocean and all. This must be where the mansion starts impossibly floating. Good thing he checked before he stepped, otherwise he may have fallen to his death.

Suddenly, Robert gets another headache and falls backwards (fortunately). Eyes closed again, he sees the bloody skull.

"It's only a matter of time. There is no escape from your fate, just surrender your soul!"

In a flash, the room reappears, Robert's headache gone.

Robert walks up to the grandfather clock. It's very well made, the swinging thing behind the glass made of solid gold and the hands bright platinum with a single diamond holding them both in the middle. The time reads 11:12. Everything looks perfect about the clock, save one scratch at the very top. For some reason, it feels like it's shorter than the other objects in the room.

Robert tries to push the grandfather clock. It moves about a foot or so before stopping. It feels like it could still move a little more if some force is applied.

Suddenly, Robert collapses completely and falls on the ground. His head hurts and he closes his eyes. When he opens them, the bloody skull appears before him.

"Now you are ours forever! You shall never leave this estate! Your soul is now one with ours!"

Robert sees many horrible monsters and what look like people who are horribly mutilated. He is now stuck in this dimension of the damned, forever linked to the mansion...

Suddenly, Death embraces Robert, appearing before him.

Death "This isn't the end. I can bring you back if you wish. Do you request I reverse the sands of time for you to correct yourself?"

Robert is instantly transported back to the game room. He has opened the door straight ahead, which, as he remembers, leads into the ocean.

Robert once again gets a painful headache and falls to the floor. The bloody skull returns.

"There is no escape, just accept your fate, for you will soon be ours!"

In a flash the room reappears in front of Robert's eyes.
